Alkagesta says it has carried out its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. The consignment was delivered by two trucks, adding a new delivery method to the company’s distribution activities in the Romanian market.

In its account of the operation, Alkagesta presented the delivery as part of an expansion of its distribution capabilities in Romania and the wider Black Sea energy market. The company said Romania had become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The reported milestone concerns its first truck-to-vessel supply operation in Constanța, rather than the start of its broader activities in the country.

The marine gasoil delivery follows other developments in Alkagesta’s European fuel business. According to the company, it gained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System earlier in 2026 and began supplying Jet A1 to the European aviation market. Alkagesta said those deliveries began amid acute supply pressure in aviation, with greater military use of the pipeline making civilian fuel distribution more complicated.

The company also reported entering crude oil trading during the period. Its first crude transactions included an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. Separately, Alkagesta said its Singapore hub had reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of around 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operation, providing another measure of the scale of its marine fuels business outside Europe.

In biofuels, Alkagesta said it had agreed multi-year storage arrangements at Pantank in Antwerp, alongside a five-year feedstock offtake agreement for used cooking oil. It described those agreements as strengthening its position in the European biofuels supply chain. The company placed the Constanța delivery alongside these developments as a further addition to its fuel trading and distribution activities.
